Five-week sessions will be held at the Island Dance Academy, 27 Haili Street, Hilo (across from Palace Theatre) and taught by Mark Unemori.
Cost per class for the entire 5-week session, $40 each. Drop-in rates, $10 per individual class.

Hilo Hep Cats' Swing Sampler, 6-7 p.m.
Don't know much about Swing dancing? We'll be teaching a new class about the various styles of Swing dance. Learn the differences between Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Charleston. You'll get a taste of each style every week and no previous experience or partner is required.
Lindy II , 7-8 p.m.
Looking to take your Lindy Hop to the next level? Dancers with a solid background in beginning Lindy will enjoy learning new moves and variations on the swingout. Previous instruction in beginning Lindy Hop, particularly the swingout, is needed to participate in this class but no partner is required.
Private Lessons and Performances
The Hep Cats are available for private lessons, at your home or at a studio, as well as demonstrations and performances. For lessons, it’s best if you have a smooth (preferably hardwood) floor with enough room to move. Otherwise, we can rent a studio for your lessons.
